Steven King is a Director in the Audit, Accounting, and Consulting Department of Ellin & Tucker, Chartered.  In this position, he has overall responsibility to ensure that clients’ needs are met in a timely manner and that the services rendered are by the most qualified individuals associated with the firm.  In addition, Steve chairs the firm’s Health Care Services and Not-for-Profit Services Groups.

Professional Experience

Steve is the Director in charge of engagements for many major clients of the firm and is responsible for providing these clients with audit, accounting, and management advisory services.  His industry expertise includes service organizations, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, physician groups, and not-for-profit organizations.  Prior to joining the firm, he was employed by the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand.  On an individual basis, Steve has extensive experience in working with clients to meet their estate and financial planning needs.

Educational Background

Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and became a Certified Public Accountant immediately thereafter.  In 1997, he completed the series of courses given by the College of Financial Planning.
