Tom Whedbee has been an educator in private and parochial schools for the past 30 years.  For much of that time, Mr. Whedbee taught a variety of subjects at the middle school and secondary school levels.  Currently he serves as a school counselor. 

Mr. Whedbee has held a variety of positions in Maryland schools—teacher, department head, dean of students, and administrator.  In 1998, he began working as a high school counselor and now serves as the director of the counseling department at Towson Catholic High School.  In that position, Mr. Whedbee handles personal, academic, college, and career counseling duties for students in grade nine through twelve. 

Mr. Whedbee received a B.A. from Boston University and two Masters degrees from Loyola College of Maryland—the first in Education and the second in Pastoral Counseling.  He is particularly interested in the myriad of challenges confronting today’s adolescents.
