Fees and Insurance

Insurance

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, with the exception of the DUI/DWI Education and Anger Management programs. These services are not covered by insurance because they are considered to be educational in nature and not medically necessary. You may be eligible for Medical Assistance (MA) or Primary Adult Care (PAC), which will cover your treatment at Epoch. Click on the following links to learn more and apply for MA or PAC.

Sliding Scale

Fees reduced from the agency’s full fee may be assessed for clients who live in Baltimore County and do not have active health insurance. In order to be assessed on the agency’s sliding scale, documentation of income and dependents are required. If documentation is not provided prior to or at the time of intake the client will be responsible for paying the agency’s full fee for each service provided thereafter unless documentation is provided to support a lower fee.

Payment

At the present time, the only forms of payment accepted are cash, personal checks (imprinted with the client’s name), and money orders. We cannot accept third party checks or business checks. We cannot accept post-dated checks.
