Research Interests
Josh Riley, M.S. is the Director of Programs at the Friends
Community Center in Los Angeles, CA. He oversees county and
city-funded HIV health education and risk reduction programs
including Friends La Brea, G.U.Y.S., TransAction, A.S.K. and Weho
Streets. Josh earned his
M.S. in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Josh worked as a substance abuse
counselor and mental health therapist at Whitman-Walker Clinic in
Washington, DC. His research interests include gay male identity
development and substance abuse, methamphetamine drug/sex fusion,
and harm reduction-based treatment interventions. |
