Shannon Sell, M.P.H. is the Project Coordinator for the County- and City-funded health education and risk reduction programs located at the Friends Community Center in Los Angeles, CA.  These programs included Guys Understanding Your Situation (G.U.Y.S), TransAction, Assisting with Services and Knowledge (A.S.K.), and WeHo Streets.  Shannon earned her Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University in Townsville, Australia.  Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Shannon worked in Africa as a volunteered with the Kenya Red Cross.  Her research interests include HIV/AIDS among gay populations.
