Institutional Environment
Throughout its existence, FRI has been committed to both clinical and research
training. FRI promotes pre-and post-doctoral training experiences
designed to facilitate careers in behavioral, public health, and public
policy research. Significant research experience is gained by
junior research scientists and research assistants through participation
in the many research studies conducted by senior research scientists at
FRI. These experiences include opportunities for publication,
presentation, and research mentorship. The senior research
scientists have university affiliations and appointments at various
public and private educational institutions, such as Johns Hopkins
University, State University of New York at Buffalo, Towson University,
University of Baltimore, University of Maryland, University of North
Carolina at Wilmington, University of Washington, and University of
California Los Angeles. |
