Research Interests

Elena Nieves earned her B.A. in Liberal Studies from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). She is currently working on her M.A. in Education also at CSUDH. She is currently involved in a Titan Pharmaceuticals funded biomedical research study for the treatment of opioid dependence. In addition, she is involved in a NIDA-funded biomedical research study for the treatment of methamphetamine dependence. Her research interests include medication development trials and interventions for adolescent substance use.
